This fits true to size. Good for girls with a little junk in the trunk but not too much. I'm tall so the slit definitely shows a lot when you sit, but very sexy when you walk. Wore a white pointed toe and got compliments on the outfit. I am an "empty c cup" so if you are larger on top this could be too tight. This would probably be best on hourglass or pear shape. Rich fabric and lines. Slip underneath and hides enough so no shapewear necessary. Ps: this is my first review / order for rent the runway and I'm very satisfied. I have another dress that you can tell was dry cleaned too many times.. but I think more reviews = more worn. Have unlimited package and happy with my purchase especially if you are a person who does a lot of events/public speaking.

This dress fit me like a dream, despite my often hard to handle combo of short and curvy with a narrow waist and full bust. The length was perfect, the fit accommodated my curves in all the right ways, and the dress wore comfortably all day. The design is a great combination of understated and striking at the same time; I wore no accessories other than a pair of pearl earrings, yet received compliments all day long! I will definitely rent this dress again!

Simple, classic, professional, beautifully cut dress. Wore this for a stage presentation and it was perfect for the occassion. Great length and fit well in all thr right places. A classically tailored dress with interesting piping detail. Would rent again if occasion presented itself. Fabric was perfect for Nov in San Diego.

The dress was a little snug. If you like your clothes a little looser, I would go up a size. I am 5"6 and the slit was perfect and professional for a work setting. Overall classy and lovely dress for work or other function.

Fits really well. Comfortable. Lots of tummy room. I think it makes your hips look a little more wide but still looked good. I got a ton of compliments. A lot of other people who left reviews complained about the slit being too high..but that was not a problem for me! Will rent again!

Loved the stress! Very classic and looks great with the blazer added as well. I wear a 36D and it was hard to zip around the bust. Definitely size up if you have broader shoulders. Fantastic!

This dress was great. I would have to say the split in the middle of the dress was a lot larger than I thought so luckily I have a wall at the bottom of my desk because I felt like I was pulling at the bottom of my dress all day at work. It fit perfect but wouldn't recommend for work.

A great look for a weekend work event. This dress is definitely runs true to size as most Slate & Willow dresses are. A plus about this dress is that you can wear a standard bra with it. I really like the modern asymmetrical cut toward the bottom of the dress. I would recommend sizing up if you are curvier in the hips and waist. Pair this dress with a neutral heel and some sleek accessories!

Great dress for work. Fits a bit snug through the rib cage (you can see it pulling a bit). Got lots of compliments. Someone at the gym actually asked me where I got the dress she loved it. The fabric holds smells, so the first one I ordered had to be sent back because the arm pit area stunk -- second dress was fine. Overall GREAT dress for work day.

Honestly, this dress was just "fine". Nothing to rave about, but comfortable and good for work. The fit was true to size. Wouldnt rent again, but no real complaints. Definitely a work dress, wouldnt want to wear to anything fancier.

I wore this to a work conference and it looked great when I was standing up, but had to cover my legs with my purse when sitting down because of the slits in the front. Amazing dress but not for sitting!

Was a little big in the stomach/hip area but I do have a small frame. I still wore it and liked it but could have fit a little better. In my picture I am actually pulling the fabric in the back of the dress tighter. So it's not a completely true depiction of how it fit.

I could have gone down to a 6 as the bottom half was a little baggy. Material stretches as well, but I was afraid my chest wouldn't fit in a smaller size. The slit gives it a little kick to the standard sheath dress

The material was not what I was expecting- more stretchy. This helped with comfort but made the dress slightly more casual. Overall I liked it and would rent again. The 4 fit perfectly

Such a figure flattering silhouette. I loved this dress so much. My only complaint is that the neck was 1/2" too high and bothered me all day -thus the four stars. Other than that I loved it.

I thought the fit was true to size. It was great and fitted creating a nice waist. My only thing is that I thought the skit was a little high so I had to watch out when I sat down. I put a white shirt under it since it was a little cool and got a lot of compliments around the office (ps - sorry for the office bathroom selfie, but I always think the picture reviews are most helpful!)

The slit in the front was a little high for worn - but perfect for cocktails. The fit was a little big in the hips - but perfect up top. I usually wear a 4 and *maybe* could have gone down a size. A classic dress that is very well made. Got a lot of compliments about how small my waist looked.

Great color and design! The fit was true to size but a little funky for someone with a long torso. The "hips" for the dress were about 3 inches too high for me but I wore a jacket with it so it was hard to tell when looking at me. The slit is definitely something you need to be cautious of haha. It wasn't an issue so much when walking but definitely made sure I sat close to the table and kept my napkin in my lap! It was otherwise perfect for an evening work event on a boat in May in DC!

This dress was really cute. The 6 fit me perfectly however the slit in the front is a bit to high for us tall girls lol. I was conscious of it all day at work when I sat down.
