The AMUR Leighton pencil gown was my definition of understated allure for a graduation dinner — sleek, refined, and quietly captivating. It hugged in all the right places without ever trying too hard, giving that perfect balance of sexy and sophisticated. I felt elegant, confident, and completely in my element. Some dresses whisper… and still manage to turn every head.

So many compliments, wore this for sorority formal it was just LONG I’m about 5’4/5’5 for reference and even with heels it was almost dragging on the floor

Love the corsets type overlay on lace. Very cute, I felt so elegant. My spouse said “whoa” when they saw this one. 

Zipper does not work well. But I was able to put it over my head and it fit well. Stunning dress very chesty so I wore a dupatta with it the straps were not adjustable.  

Obsessed with this dress. The straps are a little long but I never felt exposed because the strapless detail is tight enough that it didn’t cause any nip slip incidents. I did have a 3 inch heel on, and the dress was slightly long. Had so many compliments. 

I wore this to the Nutcracker ballet. The dress reminds me of the costumes that some of the dancers wear with the structured bodice and flowy skirt. Tips: I sized up (8) from my regular dress size (6), based on advice in the comments and it was a perfect fit. I’m 5’7” and the regular length was a little long for wearing flats but workable. The zipper is a pain and easily gets stuck which led me to rate this dress 4 stars instead of 5.

I didn’t find the proportions off like others said, though! It’s a beautiful dress.

Only con about this dress is that the straps are not adjustable

The dress itself looked beautiful but it didn’t fit right. The corset zipper is hard to put on by yourself and tight but the straps were falling off all night long. Also, it’s very booby so if you’re not comfortable showing your cleavage then I’d avoid this one. 

Loved this for a gala. Length was great, to the floor, with heels. The skirt is more voluminous than I expected - had to gather it up getting in and out of a car.

Looked amazing. I did have to size up though, tight fit! Also a very tiny zipper which was a pain. But overall, beautiful and unique but elegant piece! 

I ended up not wearing this dress but the fit was very structured and made my waist looked snatched! The skirt was very flowly and works great if you have some hips. The other dress I selected worked better for my event but I would definitely rent this again.

I didn't end up wearing this to my event (was my backup)but it's very well fabricated and made . Great fit 

you will definitely need assistance getting the dress zipped, but once it's on... stunning! Tight in the chest - might have to go up a size depending! 

Quality great but runs too small. You need a least a size up.

literally loved. this dress but it was long and tripped me a few times. also the straps don't adjust and the corset is thick so wasn't the most seamless zipper. i'd still rent again though

The dress is gorgeous - absolutely loved the fit. Fit pretty TTS for me. The zipper SUCKs though. Absolutely not possible to get on without help.

This dress was serious. The moms loved it! Corset top is fun. 

This address would've been perfect if I could adjust the straps. I have a longer torso so this dress works out great for me. Short torso girls beware. 

The dress was too long for my hight in Regular and there wasn't a Petite option. I had to order a size up because it runs small. Otherwise, it is a good looking dress.

I am not a busty girlie, they are average size and my measurements lean pear shaped but I couldn't zip this over my ribs. Like it had probably 2 inches of the gap to cover between the zipper. It was so odd bc I wore a dress by AMUR for my engagement party and got my true size and even needed to get the waist and ribs taken in a bit. If you are similar shape, I'd size up one.

Maybe I was crazy when I rented, but I thought the dress was brown up top with a black skirt. I was pretty disappointed to see the whole dress was black. I'd say it fits pretty true to size, but the straps are not adjustable, and I could have benefitted from them being a bit shorter.

Tight in bodice and super long. Heavy fabric, not for summer. 

Ran very small - I'm a true 4 and I needed help zipping this up and it was very uncomfortable. I'd size up just one size

Be careful I was recommended this size but it was extremely small if you have a larger chest! I couldn't get it to zip and the straps were super tight 

I wanted to love this dress because I found it unique and different than other black dresses I’ve seen lately but the top just sits and made me look wider. Beautiful fabric though and maybe would work for someone else! 

This dress fit very tight in the hips and was a lot longer than I expected. Overall, the fit was not flattering, especially with a shorter stature.

It looks like a witch costume and the zipper is impossible 

I couldn't even properly try the dress on.  I couldn't get the zipper to move and when I finally was able to get it down, I couldn't get it back up (still off my body).  I reached out to customer service but it was going to take 2 days to get a new dress to me and by then it would be too late for the event. So beware of this zipper.
