The dress has real thread embroidery, not just a pattern, which is so gorgeous in person. Styling with a belt like the model helps break up the outfit, but it's not strictly required. I wore shape wear shorts but no bra. Very thick material so works best at an indoor event or in cold weather. 

I MC’d our Mothers Day Brunch and this dress was perfect! I’d rented it before so I knew how comfortably flattering it was and didn’t hesitate to rent it again. The hat complemented it perfectly. 

I so enjoyed wearing this dress.  It fit me perfectly (I chose a size larger than recommended by the App based on reviews).  It was comfortable to wear, the liner and the fit made it such that I did not need to wear a bra, and luckily I had my husband to help me zip and button it.  I wore it to a Gala called Party in Bloom and the dress was perfect for it!  I got several compliments and was even photographed by the flower arrangements.  Grateful I could tap into RTR’s closet for this occasion!

Very long (definitely floor-grazing on me) but surprisingly comfortable. The embroidered flowers are gorgeous in person and give it such a romantic feel. Easy through the bodice with flowy movement — felt dressed up without feeling stiff.

I love this gown! So pretty, perfect fit, comfortable, and lots of compliments!! Absolutely worth the rent. 

This dress is gorgeous. The embroidery and colors are beautiful. The waist falls oddly high but I added a belt like many others and it totally helped balance the waist line. I loved wearing this and received endless compliments. 

I thought I would be a Medium but it was too tight, The Large fit perfectly and comfortably! Everyone commented on how beautiful the dress was. I absolutely loved it! It is also so different to anything everyone else wore to the black tie wedding.  It looks way better in person than photos. 

It’s a little tight but worked for me —got a ton of compliments. 

Make sure your have comfy heels to wear if you’re shorter than 5’10.

The over embroidery is heavy and gorgeous. It falls over curves like water with a light stretch and a bit of a tuck in feeling. The length was perfect as I am 5’6” and wore just. 2” wedge. I felt royal. 

Wore it to a gala at the art museum and this was a SHOWSTOPPER. I’m already tall, but the long sleeves and drape made it look like I float when I walk. And, it’s super comfortable. I even had a meal
in this dress and was still okay :) Ordered the belt off Amazon and was on my way!

This fit perfectly! I wore it to a gala dinner and party (in an actual palace in Europe!) and felt perfectly dressed and comfortable.  

I wore this to a formal wedding and got endless compliments all night. No photos do it justice or show just how beautiful it is. It’s absolutely stunning in person and is extremely comfortable! I am 5’-6” (around 150lbs) and typically wear a size 6. I wore size Medium and it fit perfectly. I was 17 weeks pregnant at the time of the event and the stress does have a little bit of stretch. I’m so happy I got the opportunity to wear it! 

This dress fit perfectly and looked great. It was elegant but yet a little bit boho and edgy. I loved how the length had some swing and movement. Fabric was perfect…not too heavy but not flimsy either. Also the sleeves were beautiful. People complimented the pretty detail of the dress. 

I wore this dress to a wedding that required formal attire that was modest in nature. This dress was so comfortable and easy to move in. The fabric has a moderate weight but is very breathable. Size up if you have muscular shoulders, back or arms. The S fit my lower body but was uncomfortable on my arms. I’m 5’6 and wore flats in the M. 

The dress is a little dark for the summer even but it fit so beautifully and was so comfortable! The length was great because I could wear flats with the dress. 

It was a little long on me at 5’5”, but that’s because I’m not willing to wear taller than 2” heels. I loved it and felt fabulous and comfortable all night.

5’9” And 190lbs. Accentuated waist well. Perfect embroidery that didn’t pull. Very glam. Waist seemed a little loose. 

I wore this stunner for a spring wedding and it was perfect. Very comfortable and easy to move around in. I received compliments throughout the evening. A special dress for a special occasion! Based on the reviews I got the XL as a backup, but the L ended up being perfect. 

This dress is so flattering. It looks even better in person. I was showered with compliments all night at the event I wore this gown. 

I wore this to dinner and a show and it was so stunning. Honestly still thinking about it! I got so many compliments. Fit really well. 

I used a belt to lift the skirt a bit. Flows well when dancing.

Wore this to a black tie optional wedding, and it was such a great dress, very comfortable very danceable and everyone loved it. I am 5’6” 165 rectangular shape and the L fit comfortably. 

Comfortable to wear. Material was breathable which was appreciated for the weeding location. 

Dress was absolutely beautiful!  I did make a belt to define my waist.  Dress was a bit heavy but wasn’t any issue.  I’m athletic and have muscular arms. The sleeves didn’t have much give. Comfortable enough to even throw a few horseshoes! I would recommend for sure! 

I took the advice of others who reviewed the dress and opted of a size larger than I normally wear. It was perfect! I paired it with a hot pink, low heeled sandal and a sparkley hand bag. 

This dress is beautiful!!!! A little tight but it worked for me. If you are between sizes- size up! Loved it but was ready to take it off at end of day :)

Wore this gown to a Catholic wedding and got compliments all night long! The photos don’t do it justice—it’s truly a beautiful gown and the embroidery is out of this world. I’d buy it in a heartbeat!

One note for my broad-shouldered gals: This one runs a little tight, especially if you also wear a bra. I wore an XS but probably could have sized up to an S.

Super fun dress! I wore to a semi formal gala event & got so many compliments including a random person asking to take my picture as we were walking outside. Runs true to size (maybe a little big) and long -- 5'4" & wore 4 inch heels & the dress was to the floor. You can wear a regular bra and it has a nude slip/liner to mid thigh. It is a heavier dress - lots of fabric. Perfect for a fall/winter event. 

I ordered this last minute for a Kentucky Derby party. I really loved the built-in shaper skirt and bra. The stitch detailing was amazing. The sleeves are see-through and three-quarter. It was very tight to get in, but I have a big chest -if you have a small smaller chest, it should fit more to size. It was not a long dress. It fit about standard length.

Loved this for the garden themed event attended.  Was able to wear super comfortable ballet flats.

I am 5'4 and 150 lb. It's was perfect without heels. Beautiful dress! 

Loved this dress.  There are multiple layers so it did feel hot but it was classy and flattering 

The dress quality is stunning. The embroidery is really gorgeous. I go between small and medium and unfortunately this small was too small. I got it zipped but since there is no give in the fabric, it was too uncomfortable to wear. Had I had the right size though it would have been great!

The combination of sheer fabric with the embroidery and heavier built in slip dress was the perfect combination! Not too warm but didn’t feel cold, and the fabric flowed beautifully! The embroidery is so beautiful and many colors to compliment with a variety of accessories. Fit was perfect without feeling  tight and I didn’t need to adjust it throughout the evening. Such a versatile dress for casual or formal events!

Wore this beautiful dress to a gala.  I’m on the shorter side and was a bit worried about the length, but it was perfect with heels.  I love how the bodice was fitted and the skirt flared out just enough to be swishy.  I would love to rent this again.

The dress is warm enough to wear to an October outdoor wedding in New England.  It is very long.  I wore a  grosgrain ribbon as a belt and just a simple pendant necklace.

I wore it to a friend’s rehearsal dinner and received many compliments. The fabric and detailing are gorgeous, though the dress is quite warm due to the full lining and a bit on the heavier side.
It fit me well through the shoulders and waist, but it’s not ideal for fuller busts. I’m only  36C, and my husband had hard time zipping me up — I couldn’t wear a bra with it.

I ordered a bunch of embroidered floral dresses to try on for a fall wedding on my membership plan. This dress was my favorite but I probably won’t wear it. The long sleeves make it quite warm, and it does look a little matronly compared to other sleeker, sleeveless dresses. But I am holding onto it just in case it’s cold, because I really do love the look of it. It’s stunning. 

True to size, wonderful sway, built in nude slip that is a bit thick but holds all the wiggly bits together!

Repeat rental that I love. This time it was slightly different from the last one, but both beautiful. I’d recommend sizing up, otherwise slightly tight around ribs. 

I got so many compliments and felt beautiful. I had to size up because of the bust. The large fit me perfectly. The attached slip hits mid-thigh but I was assured that nobody could see my legs through the material. I wore 2-inch heels and the length was just right.

I'm not sure my body type - is brick sh!th0use an option?!? - but this did not work for it. It is a heavier dress, with lots of fabric, and did not accent my (albeit limited) waist.  Maybe a belt would help, but that's not something I have.  I was hoping this would be bold and fun, but it made me feel matronly. Also, the embroidery doesn't cover the whole sleave, which kinda makes it look like you're wearing a long sleaved t-shirt under the dress. There isn't much (any) give to the fabric, so I don't think it would be comfortable for a long evening, but i only wore it to try on. I went with my back up dress. 

The event was held out of doors so I would be standing in wet grass. I wore boots and it worked perfectly. I would definitely suggest a belt to break-up the rather busy print. The flowers absolutely pop much more than the photo suggests. I can’t tell you how many compliments I received. I told everyone “Rent the Runway”!
One suggestion I would like to make to the company. More dresses for older women. I’m 70 and VERY few dresses in your catalog would work for me. 

Beautiful and comfortable dress, got lot of compliments but you definitely need the belt in my opinion. 

I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant so I was a little worried, but the large had *just* enough room for my bump. I wore this to a military ball in February and absolutely loved the gown for the evening! If I weren't pregnant I think medium would fit with plenty of room
