Swapped S for XS because the chest was a little big, but XS was tighter in the back and less sexy / effortless looking, so I swapped back! Small wins. Loved this, wore it all day and threw an oversized sweatshirt on at night by the fire pit. 

I felt absolutely gorgeous in this dress. I loved the layers at the bottom to give the dress some depth which accentuated my waste. I agree with the other reviews that the straps are too long, but I made little knots at the back and it fit great. Filled the bust but was pretty low cut, perfect for a date night. Would definitely buy or rent again.

This dress drapes so nicely on you, giving a bit of motion and interest to the dress. The back was my favorite part - it's low so very sexy without being over the top!

Other than the straps being a little long, the dress fits perfectly and is very comfortable and light. Long enough for me (5’11”) so that’s a big win. 

Wore in the Virgin Islands - lightweight in the humidity. I liked the low back and didn’t need to wear a bra. Very close to purchasing it. 

I wore it with a denim shacket and it was the perfect dress for a spring evening at the botanical garden 

Absolutely loved this! The back was sexy but was able to dress up and down for a wine country trip and also for work event.

Dress was a perfect fit for me! I’m a true small top and medium curvy bottom. Straps are long and non-adjustable, but I used dress table in the chest area and didn’t have any issues.

I loved this dress. It has an open back which I loved. I rented the smallest size and it was a bit big on the shoulders and chest area, but I loved the way it looked on!

The dress is gorgeous. The cut is very nice, as is the fabric. The straps are very long and not adjustable, which made it a little too large on me. If you have a smaller upper body, I would recommend sizing down.

So easy to throw on and wear out.  Used to do touristy things on a weekend trip to Louisville!  Gorgeous back!

I am 5’10” and it was a perfect length so it may not be short girl friendly but it’s adorable and so flattering. Since i’m paler and eggshell tends to wash me out i paired it with a leather jacket and black knee high boots!!! loved it and will totally rent again 

Fun shape and dress for a night out, but the straps aren't adjustable and had an issue with it being super low cut. Because it's practically backless and the straps aren't adjustable, sometimes the strap would fall down my shoulder and give a little show.

Adorable dress! I sized up because I like things loose but for this dress the straps are too loose then because there’s no way to tighten them so I used a safety pin haha. Size down and it’ll be perfect! 

Love Staud and always fits great. The straps are a bit long so there's not as much support, but still great for date night.

A great dress for a dinner out. The details on the side keep it from being boring. My only complaint is the straps were long with no way to adjust them. If you have a smaller bust, try sizing down. 

Loved the style, but the straps were really long (wish they were adjustable). I safety pinned them together in the back to adjust the fit and that worked. 

Didn’t wear because it highlights my stomach and I’m very conscious of it. Beautiful dress though. Straps are long.

I loved the look of this.  However the straps were SOOO long they kept falling off my shoulders. We eventually put a hair tie in the back to keep it up, but then the neckline was super high.  The material is like a STURDY cotton.  It took me almost 30 minutes to iron with all the skirt material.  Overall, fun and loved the open back.

Cute and got many compliments but I would avoid if your bust is on the smaller side. You’ll need to be bra-less to compliment the back designs.

I liked this dress a lot and at first thought it fit fairly decently. But once I wore it out I realized that the straps were too loose when I was actually moving, which wasn't as severe or noticeable when I was standing still trying it on. The straps were constantly falling down. 

Probably just not the best for the flat chested girlies. 

I desperately wanted this dress to be something that it just wasn’t for me. Although the back is beautiful, it was unflattering in the front and very big around my waist. Also, with bigger breasts, I had to go braless as they do not make sticky bras or backless bras for my size. If the bodice was a little tighter, it would’ve been fine, but I felt insecure in the loose-fitting top. (I did not want to size down, as I felt the dress would be too small). I packed it for a trip, but wouldn’t have worn it if I had an alternative. This dress would fit best on someone with a “ruler” body type. 

As many others mentioned the straps are crazy long. When I received the dress, someone had actually sewn a dart to shorten each strap and it was STILL too long. The dress itself came closer to the ground than intended on me, but the length worked for me. 

The fabric wrinkled easily and creased after I sat in it. 

The picture shows the back of the dress which I think is the best part about it. This dress will probably be 5 stars for some, but I didn’t think it was universally flattering or a win-for for everyone. 

This dress was brand new with tags, but it runs big.  There was no way I could style it and still wear it.  Such a bummer because the fabric was great and so was the feel.  Would rent again, just need to size down. 

got so many compliments BUT the straps are not adjustable, and I am a 32DDD and got a S (2-4) and it was very large in the chest. 

Straps are a bit long but otherwise very cool with the drop waist. 

I sized up and it was just too loose to really wear. I would totally try it again though and get the smaller size

Staud runs a bit large by default so I took the smaller size and it worked out great.

Relaxed fit, but has a great vibe. Very casual. Great weekend dress.
