I recently wore this dress to my cousin’s wedding and cannot even count the number of compliments I received! The material is not thick, but is well-structured and hides any bulging around the stomach area. Not necessarily “stretchy,” but has some give to it. The flower detail on the left strap stays in place even while dancing and moving about. The strap itself is what I can only describe as a “bungee” (SO much better than an adjustable strap) that’s not too thin and covered with the same material that the dress is made out of. The slit was not too high - I was still able to wear spanx without them showing even while sitting down. I’m on the shorter side and probably could have even worn flats without the dress touching the ground. The 3.5 inch heels I did wear were perfect for the length I was looking for. For the taller girlies, it will probably hit mid-calf with heels. The bust area felt supportive enough with the strap to avoid the need for constant pulling, however, the cups themselves are on the smaller side. I’m a 34B, but anything larger may not “fit” inside the cups as well and would likely be less comfortable. Overall, this dress was a 10/10 for me and I’m very glad I rented it!

I rented this dress for a friend's formal wedding and it was absolutely perfect! The fabric is thick, form fitting in all the right places, and extremely comfortable on the skin, especially the inner lining. I was initially worried about the dress being too long - I ordered the regular length since the petite was not in stock - but with 3-4 inch heels, it was just right. The straps were just a *tad* loose, but the dress can easily be pulled farther down in the back without compromising the fit in the front to ensure that the straps don't fall. I didn't need to wear a bra because the fabric was thick enough to provide both shape/support and coverage. 10/10 would recommend this dress for any formal event, it was beautiful and would look great on any body type!
