I have rented several Chiara Boni dresses and I love them because of the material they use! I can fit into a 40, 42, and 44 just fine, but the 40 is best for my height (esp. as I don't love wearing super high heels). However, the 40 is definitely a bit tight and would require shapewear to hide some of my postpartum bumps -- I just didn't want to do that for an outdoor summer wedding, so had a replacement sent. This dress is beautiful though and very flattering otherwise!

I don't know how I missed all the reviews that talked about how small this dress ran, but it runs SUPER small. Go up at least 2 sizes! I am usually a size 2/4 - I didn't even try on the S because I could barely close the waist on the M. I loved the soft fabric and it is such a cute cut, but unfortunately couldn't wear the dress because I couldn't move/breathe in it.

This dress is so beautiful - the color, the shape, the material! And it has pockets! The fabric is structured but not too heavy - it was perfect for a fall wedding where the ceremony was outdoors but the reception was indoors. Definitely get a size up for your backup. No bra necessary, but you could wear one if you wanted to. This dress was bluer than I expected, but still a gorgeous color.
